Basic Purpose/Accountabilities: Provide senior leadership and accountability for end-to-end Materials and Logistics execution supporting Drilling operations. The role ensures safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective management of all materials, equipment, and logistics activities, enabling uninterrupted drilling operations. Accountable for materials readiness, asset integrity, regulatory compliance, and risk management, while promoting strong HSE performance, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement in line with company values Primary Functions/Responsibilities: Lead and govern materials and logistics planning and execution to support drilling schedules, ensuring materials readiness and prevention of logistics-related NPT. Act as the senior focal point coordinating with Drilling, Marine, Shorebase, QA/QC, contractors, supply base, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless operations. Own accountability for safe handling, storage, inspection, preservation, and traceability of Company and contractor materials, including OCTG, in compliance with API, contractual, and COP standards. Oversee QA/QC inspections, repair, assembly, and third-party services to ensure quality, schedule, and cost objectives are achieved. Ensure accurate preparation and approval of logistics documentation, customs declarations, and shipment packages in full regulatory compliance. Maintain governance over material movement tracking, reconciliation, and post-campaign close-out, ensuring inventory integrity and correct surplus disposition. Lead scheduled waste management related to drilling activities, ensuring full compliance with DOE and environmental requirements. Establish and oversee maintenance, inspection, and certification programs for Company assets and lifting equipment. Champion HSE leadership by embedding risk awareness, safe work practices, and compliance with Life Saving Rules across all materials and logistics activities. Drive continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and contractor performance through disciplined processes and data-driven decision making. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to coordinators and shorebase teams, building capability, accountability, and a strong performance culture. Personal Skills: Minimum 20 years working experience as a logistic coordinator or material coordinator for oil & gas company to support drilling operations, which includes Minimum 10 year's experience as a drilling material coordinator within Labuan base. Strong Interpersonal / Written communication skills; fluency in Oral and Written English. Ability to work with little supervision. Organizational skills and ability to prioritise. Minimum Year 10 School Certificate. Supervisory necessary to direct operations Well-developed customer relationship skills. Certificate in Business or Administration desired Job Specifications: Experienced in Drilling Operations. Experienced in vessel operations, vessel specifications and directing marine operations Self-directed with ability to multi -task and liaise with large client / contractor base. Familiar with governmental marine regulations Previous experience working logistics associated with drilling operations.
