Your future jobAs an Operations Technician at Melexis, you will resolve technical issues and adjustment of handlers in line with process specifications and quality requirements in order to achieve the manufacturing objective.More specifically, you will:

Investigate equipment issues using structured problem-solving techniques, WI, OCAPs, and diagnostic tools.
Apply corrective actions in accordance with process specifications, quality standards, and KPIs.
Perform short changeovers within planned timelines.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned equipment type and working knowledge across the production area.
Support continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, performance, and efficiency.
Adhere to 5S practices, quality standards, and performance targets.
Plan and organise daily tasks independently to achieve short-term results.
Implement preventive actions and operational improvements to maximise long-term equipment efficiency.

Your profile

Minimum Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in the field
Advanced knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, and mechanics
Proficient in the use of job-related tools and performing manual adjustments.
Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain quality, productivity, and apply preventive maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and optimise long-term equipment efficiency.
Knowledge in ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001 and the relevant customer requirements are considered an advantage
Capable of reading, interpreting, and working with data from monitoring systems
Good understanding of safety and environmental guidelines.
Excellent team collaboration, communication skills, and proficiency in computer literacy.
Good understanding of English and fluency in the local language.
Willing to work on rotation shift (12 hours shift)
Willingness to travel to other sites
