- Securing & growing the business & market share for IDT's RFID credential, RFID reader and solution portfolio in Southeast Asia
- Acquiring new customers and developing existing customer base in the above-mentioned product segments and region
- Driving the entire sales process, from prospecting and initial contact (including cold outreaches), to consulting on product offerings that meet the customer's needs, to commitment of design-in solutions (collaborating with product management and engineering specialists as required).
- Driving his/her own sales pipeline while keeping CRM/Salesforce up to date.
- Working with sales and marketing management to plan and implement marketing and sales campaigns.
- Attending and participating in tradeshows, exhibitions, as well as partner events.
- Completing forecasts and revenue reporting by regularly scheduled deadlines.
- Performing any other duties as deemed necessary by the Sales management.
- Bachelor's degree in technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in business development and/or technical sales, preferably within the technology or RFID sector, with a proven track record of sales and a solid understanding of RFID technologies and the sales process.
- Sales or technical sales degree preferable.
- Experience of selling both direct to OEMs and indirect through system integrators, distributors, reseller partners etc.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team. Experience working effectively across various departments, such as marketing, product development, and technical teams, to drive results.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills. Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and an ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Technical knowledge & certification to this effect would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead presentations and establish credibility with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Must possess the ability to create presentations and write articles that conform to prescribed business style and format.
- Must possess the ability to present information to technical managers, “C-level” management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
- Familiar with CRM tools and analysis, such as Salesforce.com.
- Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex business and financial data and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent planning, organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Flexible and highly motivated, pro-active & self autonomous.
- Focused on customer needs and satisfaction creating added value.
- Very good communications skills.
- Business minded and ability to develop and increase it.
- Employee works primarily in a home office environment.
- The home office must be a well-defined work area, separate from normal domestic activity and complete with all essential technology including, but not limited to; separate phone, scanner, printer, computer, internet, etc. as required in order to effectively perform their duties.
- Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
