- Candidate with a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic) or its equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years (48 months) of working experience in related fields or similiar role, managing an equipment maintenance environment.
- Candidate without related academic qualification must have at least 6 years of working experience in relevant field.
- Any other *certificate in related fields is an advantage, e.g. IAAPA Safety Institute/Certificate (Attraction Mgr/Leader/Exec).
- Experience in theme park industry is much preferred & is a definite advantage.
- Strong technical analytical, problem solving skills in making quick, independent & rational decisions.
- Ability to handle pressures, multi-tasking, work on extended hours & deal with complex situations within a highly dynamic work environment.
- Ability to plan, organize and implement the repair and maintenance activities independently.
- Must possess excellent English & Bahasa Malaysia listening & understanding, speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Proficient of MS-Office (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Outlook).
- Responsible for overall supporting functions (mechanical & electrical aspects) for the purpose of the development, implementation, audit & review of the Department's technical & engineering standards & best practices.
- Ensure harmonization & compliance is achieved & maintained across all sections, rides & attractions.
- Provide active & timely professional supports across all areas of Department's technical & engineering maintenance & projects.
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of qualified & competent technical personnel overseeing all functions of Theme Park R&A Technical, including but not limited to daily operation & administrations of the Department.
- Plan manpower & budget and schedule PM programs to ensure timely execution of planned activities to ensure reliability & availability of rides & attractions.
- Oversee synergized rehab & re-engineering activities.
- Ensure availability of required spare parts & consumable.
- Provide coaching & continuous competency training development of team members.
- Monitor occupational safety & health & environmental matters and ensure compliance with national & local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee documentations & certification of standards.
- Manage audit & inspection by certification body & authorities.
- Responsible to upkeep the availability, efficiency and the safety aspects of the rides and facilities by planning and organizing the repair and maintenance programs.
- Ensure the safety of rides and facilities through Safety Management Program, and efficiency of rides through effective Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Assist in case study and analysis of each breakdown incident or accident and to determine the best remedial solution.
- Attend & participate in Department's meetings from time to time, as and when needed.
- Park-wide supporting roles for other Departments/Sections, as and when needed.
- May need to support other Sections which are directly under responsibility of HOD of Theme Park Technical.
