a. Respects regulations and internal AL rules about safety policies, operating procedures, dangerous materials, and ISO quality standards.
b. Reacts spontaneously when occurs an incident or an accident, takes the first emmergency actions and inform his/her hierarchy.
c. Sensibilises customers or collegues on safety and quality issues
d. Applies road transportation regulation for the product concerned and drives carefully.
e. Must not drive or be required to drive when feeling tired. If he becomes tired while driving, they shall stop. Ensures the vehicle is parked in a safe and secure location,.2. Ensures bulk delivery trip according to dispatching plan
a. From the provided planned route (including the loading and unloading points and the order in which they must be reached) drives the truck to acheive the dispatching plan
b. Respects Maximum daily driving hours and on-duty driving hours whichever are more stringent between the country legal requirements or the Subsidiary requirements,
c. He/she must inspects his vehicle before every trip.
d. Ensures the current maintenance of the vehicle and maintains it in good operating condition.
e. Ensures a regular cleaning of the vehicle to give a good image.3. Performs loading and deliveries operations
a. applies loading and unloading procedures at plant and customer facilities
b. check visually the good operating conditions at customer facilites.
c. informs the dispatcher or the carrier manager in case of malfunctions detected at customer facilities4. Completes the documentation and transfers relevant information
a. Completes trip documents and delivery notes.
b. Signs the delivery notes and ask signature from the customer
c. Informs dispatcher or tranport manager if customer access are impossible
d. Informs dispatcher or transport manager about any usefull information (example : vessel not fully filled at customer site, unsuitable roads and congested areas, waiting time too long at plant facililities,...)Are you a MATCH?
- Hold a current and valid Class E driving license.
- Have 1-2 years of experience driving Class E vehicles.
- Demonstrate the ability to safely operate vehicles.
- Exhibit a strong customer orientation and commitment to providing excellent service.
- Forklift driving experience will be an added advantage
