Supports the business and employees throughout the employment lifecycle. It has a broad range of responsibilities, which may include but are not limited to talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, talent management, compensation, and benefits and operations.Responsibilities:Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of Global Mobility Policies (GMP) and procedures
- Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action
- Manages client expectations by communicating updates / status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports
- Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing, new and anticipated legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- To provide HR consultation to managers and employees on HR issues regarding employee relations, staffing, compensation, HR policies and performance management
- Disseminates information on employee benefits and arrangement to employees
- Responsible for Human Resource activities to include employment, liaising with 3rd party vendor on application of work visa and tax, benefits, and training and development (if required)
- Conduct new employee orientations to expats or inbound employees from other countries to KL (if required)
- Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation
- Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries
- Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems
- Supports the mobilization of new hires and the demobilization of resigned
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential
- A minimum of 7 - 10 years experience in a similar or HR generalist role
- A detailed understanding of HR principles and practices
- Experience supporting corporate office staffs a plus
- Experience in Global Mobility is a plus
- Experience with HR Systems e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Office Suite etc
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Ethical and good time management
- Ability to build good relationships
- Capability to apply discretion and maintain high levels of confidentiality
