About the Role We need a finance-savvy Infor M3 expert who can anchor our financial operations while bridging across supply chain, manufacturing, and sales. You'll be our financial controller's trusted system partner-mastering core accounting, cost management, and regulatory compliance-while also speaking the language of production planners and warehouse managers to solve end-to-end business challenges. The role operates independently as an individual contributor, focusing on functional expertise rather than team leadership. What You'll Own Lead M3 finance optimization : general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, cost accounting, and month-end close processes Drive F&B-specific financial controls: recipe costing, yield analysis, margin management, and variance investigations Translate financial reporting needs into M3 configurations and custom reporting solutions Troubleshoot cross-module issues that originate in finance but manifest in inventory or production (and vice versa) Manage finance-related enhancements: from budget workflow approvals to automated cost allocations Configure M3 modules with finance-first perspective while ensuring supply chain and manufacturing integration points remain robust Conduct training sessions that help non-finance users understand how their actions impact financial results Must-Haves 7+ years Infor M3 experience with deep expertise in Financial Applications (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting) 3+ years in CloudSuite environment, specifically managing finance modules in a manufacturing or F&B setting Proven ability to optimize month-end close cycles and resolve persistent reconciliation issues Strong grasp of Malaysian tax regulations (SST/GST) and multi-entity consolidation requirements Solid SQL skills for financial data analysis and troubleshooting Track record of managing finance-related change requests and delivering measurable process improvements Can confidently discuss landed costs with procurement, standard costs with production, and gross margins with sales Nice-to-Haves Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent accounting background Infor M3 Financial Management certification Experience implementing or optimizing M3 Costing, Budgeting, or Fixed Assets modules Knowledge of F&B-specific financial compliance: halal certification cost tracking, food safety audit financials Familiarity with ION for financial data integrations and API connections to banking platforms Who You Are A finance professional at heart who understands that accurate financials depend on solid operational processes Comfortable diving into inventory valuations one hour and reviewing production variances the next Can explain why a warehouse miscount hits the P&L to a plant manager, then discuss system fixes with IT Self-directed problem-solver who stabilizes shaky financial processes and builds trust across departments
