.Job Description1. Process Line and Utilities Mechanical & Electrical Equipment Maintenance1.1 Performing Preventive Maintenance (PM – Mechanical & Electrical)
1.2 Perform routine inspections and maintain accurate records of equipment and component parameters, ensuring compliance with specified limits. Activities include oil sampling, rubber roll inspection, roll alignment, and basic electrical checks.
1.3 Collect and analyze equipment breakdown data to support failure trending and continuous improvement initiatives.2. Capital Project2.1 Project installation, supervision, and commissioning when required.
2.2 Coordinate and supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and timelines.
2.3 Support the Project Engineer in conducting mechanical and electrical checks and commissioning of process lines.
2.4 Verify and accept completed work from project contractors (e.g., alignment checks, etc.).3. Contacts3.1 Report progress of assigned tasks to the Mechanical Maintenance Leader.
3.2 Maintain active communication with plant personnel to provide timely updates on maintenance issues.
3.3 Liaise with external suppliers for maintenance-related materials and project requirements.
3.4 Communicate with technical personnel from other local and overseas divisions to gather required technical information.4. Others4.1 Participate in technical exhibitions and industry events organized by other companies and government or industrial bodies.
4.2 Promote and adhere to a strong safety culture in all job activities and comply with all safety procedures and instructions.Qualifications1 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.2 Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written), with computer literacy including word processing and spreadsheet applications.3 Required 3–5 years’ experience in maintenance and electrical work in a manufacturing plant, including mechanical installation and heavy process equipment maintenance.
