Define and maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and business glossaries within Microsoft Purview and Fabric.
Monitor data quality metrics and implement remediation processes for critical datasets.
Collaborate with data owners to establish stewardship workflows and data certification protocols.
Support data classification, lineage tracking, and access controls using Azure Data Catalog and Purview.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR).
Facilitate data governance forums and contribute to the development of enterprise data standards.
Work with data engineers to validate ingestion pipelines and ensure consistency across Lakehouse tables.
Assist in onboarding new datasets into OneLake with appropriate tagging and documentation.
Champion data stewardship best practices across departments and promote data literacy.

Degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in data stewardship, governance, or data quality roles.
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Azure Data Catalog, and Fabric Lakehouse.
Understanding of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
Experience with metadata management and data lineage tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy and consistency.
