Learn more about Teleport here:We are looking for a highly driven and hands-on Project Manager to lead infrastructure build-outs and ensure seamless transition from project implementation to full operational readiness across multiple countries.This role serves as a critical bridge between infrastructure build teams and live country operations. The incumbent will oversee site readiness, drive structured build-to-operations handovers, and ensure new facilities achieve performance targets from day one.This is a field-oriented role in a fast-scaling, cross-border logistics environment. The role requires frequent regional travel (40–60%) and on-site presence during critical launch and stabilization phases.***Applicants must be Malaysian citizens. Visa sponsorship is not provided, and candidates must have the legal right to work in MalaysiaKey Responsibilities1. Build-to-Operations Handover & Hypercare
  • Lead operational readiness for new site launches, expansions, and upgrades.
  • Develop and execute structured handover frameworks from project/construction teams to operations.
  • Ensure SOPs, workflows, KPIs, reporting tools, and systems are ready before go-live.
  • Validate site readiness (equipment, safety, staffing, system configuration).
  • Provide go-live support and post-launch stabilization.
  • Anticipate operational risks and proactively storyboard mitigation plans.
2. Drive Operations Performance
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive target performance.
  • Continuously assess productivity capacity vs operational targets.
  • Initiate improvement plans independently to enhance performance.
  • Drive data-driven performance monitoring and execution.
  • Lead fast-paced, accurate decision-making to meet operational goals.
3. Regional Infrastructure Deployment & Continuous Improvement
  • Travel across country sites to oversee logistics infrastructure deployment (Gateway, CTO, Transit Hubs, Operations Facilities).
  • Ensure alignment with regional operational standards.
  • Identify and escalate risks impacting timeline, cost, or service levels.
  • Support capacity ramp-up planning and scalability initiatives.
4. Operations Optimization & Standardization
  • Ensure consistent implementation of regional operational standards.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and drive corrective actions.
  • Identify process gaps and refine playbooks for future rollouts.
  • Contribute to regional continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate ownership and assertiveness in portfolio proposals.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Country Operations.
  • Align timelines, budgets, vendor performance, and site acceptance criteria.
  • Provide structured reporting to Head of Infrastructure and management.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and remain resourceful.
6. Risk & Compliance Management
  • Ensure regulatory, safety, and operational compliance at each site.
  • Develop contingency plans for launch delays and operational risks.
  • Support audit readiness for new facilities.
RequirementsQualifications & Experience
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or infrastructure deployment.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional, multi-country projects.
  • Strong experience in site launch planning and operational ramp-up.
  • Demonstrated KPI-driven performance management.
