- Communicate and work closely with business stakeholders, product and IT team for the completion of product requirements and involve in User Acceptance Testing.
- Maintain clear communication with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding and successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate new IT solutions with existing systems, ensuring smooth data flow between platforms and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Act as the liaison between the business and development teams to ensure the timely delivery of projects that meet business requirements, while managing scope, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Work closely with Product Managers and different business owners to ensure the projects roadmap are delivered within the project timeline.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the financial services and brokerage industry, including regulatory changes, and assess how these trends could impact business operations.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify market gaps, evaluate competitors' strategies, and recommend improvements or opportunities for business growth.
- Ensure that communications and updates from regulatory bodies are promptly delivered to the Internal IT & Cloud teams for deployment to production, ensuring no disruption to internal systems.
- Manage user administration for critical internal and regulatory platforms.
- Oversee access control, permissions, and the entire account lifecycle (creation, modification, and deactivation) across systems.
Work with third-party vendors to manage and monitor the performance of external software solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and service-level agreements (SLAs).Compliance and Security
- Collaborated with the internal data security team to enhance and deploy advanced security protocols, effectively protecting sensitive client data, reducing the risk of data breaches, and bolstering client trust.
- Ensured that all internal systems and processes adhered to Malaysian financial regulations, thereby avoiding legal penalties and significantly enhancing the firm's reputation.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Capital Market or Investment Banking or Stockbroking products.
- Proven experience in fintech, brokerage, or securities trading environments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Able to work under pressure, in meeting tight deadlines, independent and possess positive attitude.
- Possess excellent Business Writing skills.
- Preferably candidate with Degree in IT, or equivalent working experience with strong interest in IT knowledge.
- Proficiency in Agile/Waterfall methodologies and collaboration tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CISSP are considered a strong plus.
- Proven project management skills would be added advantage.
