AL Maritime is a business unit within GM&T (Global Markets & Technologies). The activity is articulated around four main businesses: Global Helium, Global Rare Gases, Offshore Energies and Maritime Cryogenic Supply. It is a very international environment, managing multiple locations worldwide. As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services. CTS is looking to accelerate its expansion through key development segments. The Maintenance Technician position is within CTS, based in Rawang, Selangor . The key mission of this position is toensure the safe and compliant execution of daily testing operations while actively promoting safety objectives as the top priority and maintain the fleet of offshore equipment and its application. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW Safety & Compliance: Execute all maintenance activities following company safety standards and local laws, including supporting HSE initiatives and using 'Stop Work Authority' to halt unsafe conditions. Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and minimize downtime. Equipment Monitoring: Regularly check equipment conditions, report abnormalities to supervisors, and maintain accurate service records for ISO audits. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and lead 5S activities to ensure the workshop remains clean and organized. Cylinder & Manifold Repairs: Perform the assembly, dismantling, and repair of cylinder pallets, quads, and manifolds, including high-pressure testing. Recertification Management: Coordinate and execute the recertification process for offshore frames and slings. Are you a MATCH At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in a workshop or manufacturing industry setting Must possess a Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Able to work and communicate effectively in the local Malay language, have basic computer literacy and the ability to read, write and communicate in basic English.
