Position Title: Deputy Contract ManagerLocation: Ulu ChohHeadcount: 1Tenure: PermanentRemuneration: RM8kResponsibilities:Assist in managing all contractual and commercial matters for precast production and export projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and contract terms.Review and interpret contract documents, technical specifications, and project requirements to identify risks, obligations, and cost impacts.Lead preparation and validation of variation orders (VOs), progress claims, and commercial reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission.Monitor project cost performance, analyse variances, and recommend cost-control actions across materials, production, logistics, and subcontract works.Coordinate with production, engineering, logistics, procurement, and HQ on contractual issues, documentation requirements, and commercial decision-making.Track project milestones, deliverables, payment schedules, and export documentation to ensure compliance and mitigate delays or commercial risks.Support negotiation and resolution of contractual or commercial issues, including disputes with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.Oversee proper contract administration and documentation, ensuring complete records of agreements, correspondences, export documents, and approvals.Requirement:Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.Minimum 5-8 years of experience in contract administration or commercial management within construction projects.Experience in precast, building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects is preferred.Strong knowledge of contract terms, variation claims, and project commercial management.Good negotiation, analytical, and documentation skills.Ability to work closely with project teams and manage multiple project contracts.
