A Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager based in East Malaysia - Sarawak! Your new company You will be joining a diversified infrastructure and industrial group with a strong legacy in Malaysia within the construction and building materials realm. Your new role As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager , you are responsible for the following: Develop and implement strategic category plans to drive cost optimization and procurement efficiency. Lead brand rationalization and demand consolidation initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership and strengthen supplier leverage. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to inform strategic sourcing and category planning. Collaborate cross-functionally with business units and stakeholders to align procurement strategies with operational needs. Guide and support procurement personnel to ensure consistent execution of category strategies across the organization. What you&aposll need to succeed Bachelor&aposs degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline Upto 10 years' experience in procurement, sourcing and category management, including 5 years in leadership roles Deep expertise in category strategy, procurement best practices, and vendor management Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities to thrive in a dynamic environment Must be willing to be based in East Malaysia ie.
