- Plan and execute a full range of business development and marketing activities for various legal practice groups.
- Coordinate and prepare client proposals, pitches, and capability statements.
- Manage the production and promotion of events (webinars, seminars, client roundtables, etc.), including logistics and post-event follow-up.
- Develop and update marketing collaterals (brochures, profiles, newsletters, etc.).
- Prepare and submit legal directory submissions (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500), ensuring accurate and timely contributions.
- Create, manage, and schedule social media content (legal insights and general brand content) across platforms including Xiaohongshu (XHS) and Facebook.
- Track and analyse engagement metrics to continuously improve social media performance.
- Support and lead ad-hoc marketing projects and firm-wide campaigns.
- Maintain internal databases and assist in the development of CRM initiatives.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a business development or marketing role within the legal industry.
- Strong understanding of legal services and market dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Malay, English and Chinese (Mandarin).
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) and social media platforms is a plus.
- Must have a portfolio showcasing past work in social media content, marketing materials, or campaign execution relevant to the legal or professional services industry.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and highly organized.
