- Set-up, develop and optimize PN Media OSA recipe detection capability for existing and new products.
- Perform OSA correlation and GR&R based on the frequency stated.
- Set up quality indicators for PN Media system.
- Execute OSA machine, capacity, pph and utilization improvement activities.
- Align the PN Media OSA recipe and improvement activities with Worldwide OSA team objectives of sustaining and improve the OSA detection capability.
- Participate, prepare and update PN Media OSA progress inside the Worldwide OSA Team Meeting.
- Participate in the Weekly Pre-Sputter Engineering Virtual meeting with GO, JO, Sz and Sarawak.
- Conduct technical sharing on the topics related to OSA functionality.
- Work with ISO team to ensure PN Media OSA practices and procedures are comply with ISO requirement.
- Work with EHS team to set up a safety fixture at OSA system to prevent any accident in the workplace.
- Work with equipment team, vendors and suppliers for OSA upgrading, development, repair and maintenance.
- Work closely with Process Engineers/cross functional team to improve product defect detectability.
- Perform detailed defect characterization using OSA.
- Work with FA and Contamination team on defect feedback by customer (HDD) for Deep Process Analysis using OSA.
- Early engagement with NPI and Development team on upcoming new product requirement on OSA.
- Provide High level Technical Reports and analysis on defects observed by OSA and provide immediate Corrective and Preventive actions.
- Prepare white paper, technical report and documentation (SMO, TECN & PECN) to ensure a smooth implementation of cleaning process.
- Leading Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) for OSA system and execute improvement actions to improve the FMEA rating.
- Set up auto shutdown fixture to prevent the cleaning machine from producing bad quality parts.
- Work with automation team to develop and design OSA equipment in PN.
- Continue to build up technician technical skill pertaining to OSA equipment and process.
- Follow all safety and health rules.
- Master/bachelor’s degree in chemical/Material Science Engineering or Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience working in Manufacturing or HDD Media industry.
- Possess OSA (Optical Spectrometer Analyzer) knowledge and skill will be highly added advantage.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt holder will be added advantage.
- Experience in ISO 14000, ISO 9000, BCMS, RBA procedure.
- Possess good technical presentation skill.
- Excellent technical communication skills (English).
- Highly Competent in Engineering.
