Position : Safety Coach Industry : Oil & Gas Location : Kuala Lumpur / Terengganu / Kelantan (Onshore or Offshore) Job Description: Responsible as the key wellsite mentor and compliance officer, supporting the offshore leadership team by fostering a proactive safety culture. Observing operations, coaching, and mentoring personnel on safe behaviors, risk understanding, and hazard identification Ensure Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance of personnel and operations at wellsite following the standards and regulations. Actively participate in, facilitate, and improve JSA, Toolbox Talks, and Permit to Work (PTW) meetings. Assist in, and sometimes lead, incident investigations and reporting to identify root causes. Implement HSE program, conduct risk assessments, inspect/audit workplaces, investigate incidents, reporting, and trains team to ensure HSE compliance and foster a strong safety culture, advising on daily operational safety to prevent harm and promote well-being. Drive safety awareness campaigns and provide inputs on daily, weekly and monthly HSE performance reports and maintain key safety data (KPIs). Perform regular safety audits, walkthroughs, and housekeeping checks to ensure a safe work environment. Capture all lessons learnt (incl. AAR) into Companys database actively participate in Lessons Learnt operating rhythm. Qualification/Skills: Minimum 15 years of HSE experience at wellsite in Wells operations. Strong understanding of HSE legislation and standards. Excellent communication, advisory, interpersonal and writing skills in English. Analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving.
