The role of Java Cloud Engineer involves developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based Java applications to support the financial services industry. This position will focus on delivering efficient, scalable, and secure technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Develop and enhance cloud-native services to support digital banking products
Build and enhance core platforms supporting digital banking products
Strengthen the microservices platform by implementing service discovery, scalability, monitoring, and high availability
Design platforms with portability and flexibility to support future multi-cloud environments
Migrating applications and services from on-premises to the cloud while ensuring compatibility with existing systems
Integrating cloud and on-premise services using secure, reliable, and low-latency design patterns and technologies

A strong educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud infrastructure components such as VPCs, WAF, subnets, and load balancers
Skilled in cloud administration, including IAM, AWS SSO, and Landing Zone setup
Proficient with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, and Aurora
Strong knowledge of databases, including MariaDB/MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB, DocumentDB, Postgres, DynamoDB
Solid Unix/Linux expertise, including shell scripting
Programming proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js with Express
