Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Head of Factory to support the efficient and effective operations of our F&B manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve production goals. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head of Factory in managing overall factory operations, including production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and warehousing. Oversee day-to-day production activities to meet output, quality, safety, and efficiency targets. Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and other food safety standards in compliance with Malaysian regulations (MOH, FSSC 22000). Supervise and support department managers and line leaders to ensure smooth coordination across shifts. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction. Assist in resource planning, budgeting, and production scheduling. Lead problem-solving initiatives to address production issues, quality deviations, or equipment failures. Support employee training, performance management, and engagement to build a skilled and motivated workforce. Drive implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other operational excellence programs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in line with Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements. Act as the deputy for the Head of Factory during periods of absence. Requirements: Education: Bachelor&aposs Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in F&B manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role. Knowledge: Strong understanding of food processing, quality systems, and supply chain management. Familiar with HACCP, GMP, ISO, and local food safety regulations. Proficient in production planning and factory operations. Skills: Leadership and team management Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office and manufacturing ERP systems Language: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
