- Financial Review & Accuracy – Analyze monthly management accounts and reports, identify discrepancies, and provide guidance to ensure precise accounting, effective cash flow management, and accurate tax computations for the company or group of companies.
- Cash Flow Management – Compile and prepare cash flow projections to maintain a clear understanding of the company's financial position, ensuring all commitments are met.
- Audit & Compliance – Review auditor reports and minimize the number of audit adjustments by addressing potential issues proactively.
- Development Expenditure Oversight – Ensure the timely completion of Development Expenditure Elimination in preparation for audits.
- Taxation & Compliance – Prepare accurate tax estimations to prevent penalties and minimize over-estimations while ensuring timely submission of tax returns.
- Loan Documentation & Management – Assist in the preparation of loan applications, address related financial concerns, and oversee loan documentation processes.
- Process Improvement & Compliance – Review, implement, and enhance financial guidelines, best practices, SOPs, and relevant legislation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership & Development – Manage, assess, and develop finance team members to foster a productive and high-performing department.
- Talent Management & Succession Planning – Supervise and mentor executives and key talents, ensuring the readiness of future leaders and maintaining a strong leadership pipeline.
- Cross-Department Coordination – Collaborate effectively with UPCM(s), matrix team members, and the finance team to achieve timely completion of financial and operational tasks.
- Risk Management & Strategic Planning – Identify financial risks and opportunities, develop strategic actions, and ensure their successful implementation.
- Professional qualification i.e Degree in Accounting, ACCA, etc. Preferable MIA member
- Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably a mixture of audit and commercial experience
- Preferably have experience in Property Developer accounts
- Proficient in accounting principles and standards, tax matters and compliance
- Knowledge in QESH Management, HIRARC, ESH legal and ESH practices
