Crown Equipment Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Service Technician in our Field sites. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of a variety of forklift, reach truck, pallet truck, other material handling equipment, ensuring reliability and safety for our clients.Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting technical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and executing repairs in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our service team and other technicians to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure equipment performance meets industry standards.We are seeking a proactive individual with a strong technical background and a passion for problem-solving.   • Complete jobs assigned for the day
  • Maintain an accurate daily record of hours worked vs hours paid
  • Complete all necessary Job Reports and Planned Maintenance(PM) Inspection Reports
  • Complete PM services per the relevant truck procedure within the standard times
  • Maintain tools and equipment to the Company's standards
  • Report any breakages or loss of tools to your service management representative
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various types of material handling equipment specifically Forklift.
  • Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities and parts used in repairs.
  • Stay current with industry standards, safety protocols, and technical advancements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of equipment.
Requirements
  • SPM, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field SKM, etc.
  • Possess good electrical/mechanical aptitude or knowledge in machinery equipment is preferred.
  • Experience in maintenance repair and overhaul in automotive engine will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills and committed to work.
  • Open to all Malaysian diploma or vocational certificate graduates from IPTA/IPTS.
  • Proven experience as a forklift / service technician or mechanic in a similar industry.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Have valid driving license: B2, D, GDL (Advantage)
  • Good in Bahasa and got basic command in English (both verbal and written).
  • Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning.
