Description We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Tableau BI tools, ETL processes (including Apache NiFi), performance tuning, and user experience (UX) to deliver reliable, high-quality analytics for business stakeholders. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for business, operation and management users. Translate business requirements into clear, intuitive, and actionable data visualizations. Develop and manage Tableau data sources using Tableau Desktop, Server, and/or Cloud. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with BI standards. Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Apache NiFi and other ETL tools where applicable. Extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud platforms). Monitor and troubleshoot NiFi data flows to ensure data reliability, performance, and scalability. Work closely with infrastructure and DevOps teams to improve data pipelines and models for analytics use. Identify and resolve Tableau dashboard and data source performance issues. Optimize SQL queries, Tableau extracts, calculations, and data models. Apply Tableau and ETL best practices to improve response times and overall system performance. Skills and Qualifications Average 5 years of hands-on experience with Tableau BI tools (Desktop, Server, Cloud). Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools, specifically Apache NiFi is mandatory. Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data pipelines, and data integration workflows. Proven experience in Tableau performance tuning and optimization. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases. Good understanding of data visualization principles and UX best practices. Ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.). Exposure to data governance, data quality, and security practices. Experience working in Agile or project-based environments.
