JOB DESCRIPTION:Core job responsibilities:Role OverviewThis role is ideal for students who are passionate about data analysis, Power BI dashboard creation, and operational performance improvement.The intern will work closely with the Service, Finance, Logistics, and Commercial teams, using real operational and service data to deliver meaningful insights and support data‑driven decision‑making.Key ResponsibilitiesPower BI Dashboard Development & Data Analysis
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize service operations, inventory, and revenue data.
  • Create interactive dashboards to track key service KPIs, including:
  • Ticket response and closure timelines (e.g. opened within 24 hours, closed within 7 days)
  • Downtime and service operational performance
  • Service sales, billing status, and revenue trends
  • Perform data preparation and cleansing to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Translate raw datasets into clear, structured, and actionable visual insights for service management.
  • Support recurring reports and ad‑hoc data analysis requests.
Service Operations Analysis
  • Support analysis of service performance data to identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Logistics) to align dashboards with business needs.
  • Assist in standardizing service reporting metrics across regions.
Inventory & Spare Parts Analytics
  • Support end‑to‑end spare parts delivery tracking and inventory reporting.
  • Assist with analytics related to:
  • Spare parts demand trends and forecasting
  • Inventory value and Days on Hand (DOH)
  • Stock count tracking and variance reporting
  • Develop Power BI visuals to support inventory optimization while minimizing service disruptions.
Service Revenue & Billing Support
  • Assist in service revenue tracking and analysis, including service contracts, Time & Materials (T&M), and spare parts sales.
  • Support monitoring of billing timelines to ensure revenue is billed on time.
  • Use SAP‑extracted data to support service billing and revenue reporting.
  • Provide data insights to support identification of service sales opportunities.
  • Assist in ad‑hoc billing and service P&L analysis.
Internship Learning OutcomesBy the end of the internship, you will gain:
  • Hands‑on experience building Power BI dashboards used by a service organization
  • Practical exposure to service operations, inventory analytics, and revenue reporting
  • Experience working with SAP‑based operational data
  • Strong foundation in data‑driven decision‑making in a regional service environment
Education and experience: (indicate minimum and why it is required):Preferred Qualifications
  • Undergraduate or diploma student in Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines
  • Strong interest in data analytics, visualization, and operational improvement
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn enterprise systems and service business processes
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
Power BI & Data Skills – Required / PreferredRequired (Foundational Level)
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Power BI Desktop
  • Ability to:
  • Build dashboards using tables, charts, matrices, slicers, and filters
  • Import and combine data from Excel and CSV files
  • Create basic calculated fields and measures
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices (clarity, usability, KPI focus)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning)
