- Acts as central point of contract for overall project activities
- Manages the day-to-day tasks/activities for all resources assigned to project with scrum master support
- Assist with coordinating project planning activities across multiple disciplines and monitor plans through best practice project controls to ensure timely delivery of projects to time, cost and quality
- Prepare and manage project budget, schedule and work scope
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project team members and liaise with various functional domains (System Integration, Data migration, System setup, System Development) to maximize the likelihood of project success.
- Actively participate in identifying solutions or initiating appropriate escalation where required.
- Alerts project owners on actions that can impact project schedules, costs, or quality of deliverables
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project team members and liaise with various functional domains (System Integration, Data migration, System setup, System Development) to maximize the likelihood of project success.
- Define and manage for each project a plan including work breakdown structures, project milestones, critical path analyses, risk assessment and management plans, cost/benefit analyses, staffing plans, project timelines, and project budgets
- Identify ways to accelerate the project execution where possible while maintaining high quality standards
- Contribute to the analysis of Capacity and Resource staffing levels
- Delivery of complex international software solutions managing a diverse team of highly skilled technical engineers, business analyst and subject matter experts
- Support project controls measures implementation, schedule and conduct periodic project reviews to oversee and facilitate successful project delivery performance
- Solid technical appreciation, understanding of technical design or technical information
- Able to pre-empt problems and ensure contingency plans are always available.
- Degree holder and above in Computer Science/ Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software development project delivery in IT Consulting.
- Good communication and drive the team are essestial skills.
- PMP Certified and experience in establishing / supporting PMO / CoE within complex programs in global financial institutions is highly preferred with additional experience in process re-engineering
- Advanced proficiency in MS Access, Excel & VBA Macros, SharePoint, InfoPath forms, Business Objects is required
- Good in Project Management Best Practices (Waterfall/Agile) and Business Analysis tools including MS Visio, UML, MS Project).
- DXC/LifeAsia/GroupAsia platform either one is an advantage.
- With System migration experience is an advantange.
- Insurance Domain expereince is an advantage.
