The business serves a broad and stable customer base across multiple sectors, including industrial coatings, energy, food science, pharmaceuticals, and general industrials. As part of its next phase of expansion and value creation, the Group is seeking to appoint a Group Chief Financial Officer, based in Selangor, to partner the leadership team in driving its growth agenda. Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Group CFO will act as the principal financial leader and strategic advisor to the business. As a core member of the executive leadership team, you will oversee group-wide financial reporting, planning, and performance analysis, translating financial insights into strategic actions that enhance profitability and market positioning. The role will play a pivotal part in supporting mergers and acquisitions, including deal execution and leading post-acquisition integration to ensure value realization. You will be responsible for building robust, best-in-class financial reporting frameworks and implementing consistent financial policies and controls across the Group. In addition, you will manage relationships with banks, investors, and key external stakeholders to secure funding and safeguard the Group's financial strength. The Group CFO will also lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across the Asia Pacific region, fostering a high-performance and future-ready finance function. Requirements The successful candidate will be a professionally qualified CA or CPA with approximately 15-20 years of relevant experience. Prior exposure to the chemicals distribution industry is essential, along with a regional Asia Pacific scope and strong hands-on experience in Malaysia. You are commercially minded, execution-focused, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. A proven track record in M&A support and post-merger integration is required. Strong finance business partnering capabilities and experience driving transformation initiatives across a group structure are critical to success in this role.
