
Order Management Intern

- Create and confirm customer orders in a timely manner, actively monitor outstanding orders, and proactively manage customer expectations.
- Send shipping instruction and complete shipping documents to logistics service providers (LSP) or customers to ensure seamless delivery to customers.
- Work closely with logistic service providers (LSP) or warehouse personnel to ensure the accuracy and timelines of the fulfilment of outbound shipments.
- Generate billing according to the established Elanco billing policy and comply with countries tax requirement.
- Handle product related FOC orders, returns, credit and debit memos based on requests received from Affiliate and in accordance with the compliance.
- All requests should be processed according to the established work instruction and process definition guideline, accuracy and the completeness of the creation/change request processed should be ensured.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to resolve issue affection cash collection/revenue recognition or uses existing procedures to solve routine problems that may impact the customer satisfaction.
- Support controls and regular checks to ensure compliance with internal control, standards, or rules.
- Support the delivery of service levels and KPI targets.
- Ensure that deadlines for report submission are met consistently. Through the use of appropriate tools (i.e. email or telephony system), promptly, responsibly and proactively handle and resolve customer or business partner queries or problems.
- Actively support or participate with any project related to system enhancement, process improvement for order management with influence on accuracy, efficiency, and compliant order management process.
- Undertake other tasks that may be assigned from time to time, as required by Elanco Management.
- Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration with 0 -2 years of related industry experience or equivalent in Order Management or other accounting function in an MNC or Shared Service. Encourage fresh graduates to apply.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Order Management and Accounting Functions
- Basic knowledge and experience of operating ERP System - SAP Module and MS Office Tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience using the ServiceNow, or Sales Force is a plus but not require.
- Have experience in supporting low to medium complexity tasks and participating in a small to medium size project initiatives.
- Lean/Six Sigma exposure or equivalent is a plus but not require.
- Progressive mindset and aptitude in learning and adapting to technology and productivity tools.
- Proficient in English is mandatory; multi-lingual is required if you support Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand and Vietnam
- Perform basics tasks requiring minimal prior experience
- Meticulous in details and post good analytical skills.
- Completes prescribed work under close supervision.
- Anticipate and responds flexibly and empathically to customer needs and effectively manage their expectations.
- Decision making is limited. Duties are clearly defined, and methods and tasks are described in detail.
- Able to uses existing procedures to solve routing problems.
- Positive working attitude with a high degree of initiative and is adaptable to change.
- Ownership for all applicable SOX and Operational Controls in own work unit.
- Good interpersonal skill as frequent communication with stakeholders from various department would be required.
