About the Role: This role is responsible in driving sustainable growth, enhancing profitability, and expanding market share of the Bank's retail asset business portfolio. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, customer acquisition, and product penetration. It encompasses product development, business development, portfolio management, sales support, and financial analysis. What will you do: Prepare Management Approval Paper (MAP) or Memo on new products, variation of existing products, campaigns and promotion. Run competitors' analysis to support the preparation of the MAP/Memo and conduct competitors' analysis on product pricing, marketing strategy and distribution strategy. Liaise with Shariah Advisors in getting the approval for any development of new products, campaigns and changes affecting the Approved Shariah Ruling. Liaise with other stakeholders such as Legal, Retail Banking, Compliance, Branding & Communications, Operations, etc. in development of new products, products variation, campaigns and promotions. Liaise closely with various sales channels for continuous promotion of the retail asset business portfolio. Liaison officer with strategic partners to ensure smooth running of the business initiatives and engaging new strategic tie-up with 3rd parties. Perform analysis on internal data provided by Business Intelligence Unit and to review prevailing policy and procedures to improve competitiveness vis-a-via market. Liaise with respective unit on campaign performance. Assist in managing topline and bottom line of retail asset business portfolio inclusive of product review, product performance and productivity review and cost management. Design product campaigns on sales acquisition via diverse sales channels and increase product holding of customers. Work with Delivery Channels to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Review and improve operational requirements to ensure meeting the latest business requirements. Provide training to new and existing employees on retail asset business portfolio. Prepare a One Point Lesson (as education tools) to educate the sales channels as and when required. Provide sales support to salespeople in ensuring that the sales channel is able to close the sales. Assist HOD on the annual budgeting and development of strategies to grow the retail asset business portfolio. Responsible for the assessment of new strategic partners and the management of these partners. Responsible for the development of various MIS reporting for management of the portfolio. Responsible for conducting market analysis and market review to ensure that retail asset business portfolio remains competitive. Responsible of ensuring audit and compliance issues raised are properly resolved. Ensure all activities are consistent with Shariah Guidelines and ARBM corporate image in the Malaysian market. Skills and experience you possess: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or any related field. Minimum of 7 years' working experience in banking and finance industry, with a focus on retail assets. Proven track record of success in driving business growth and managing a profitable asset portfolio. Strong understanding of product management methodologies and the product lifecycle. Experience in Islamic banking and products with in-depth knowledge of the Malaysian retail banking market, including regulatory frameworks (BNM) and competitive landscape.
