- Promote and sell fertilizers and other agricultural products to plant nurseries, commercial farms, agri-businesses, and end-users.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a strong and active sales pipeline.
- Identify, approach, and onboard suitable distributors and dealers across key regions.
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with new and existing distributors.
- Understand clients’ agronomic needs and recommend appropriate fertilizer solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on product usage and benefits.
- Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and feedback while delivering excellent customer service.
- Provide regular feedback to management to support product development and market positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and effective promotions.
- Attend exhibitions, networking events, conferences, and seminars to represent the organization and expand business opportunities.
- Diploma in a related field such as:
- Agronomy
- Horticulture
- Plant Science
- Other relevant disciplines
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in agricultural or fertilizer product sales.
- Familiarity with fertilizer products and market pricing.
- Strong skills in client communication, negotiation, and project execution.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for business purposes.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Existing network of agricultural product buyers, nurseries, or distributors is an advantage.
