Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a 3D Designer located in Petaling Jaya. The 3D Designer will be responsible for tasks related to 3D design, lighting, graphic design, animation, and 3D modeling to create engaging visual content for advertising & activation purposes. Job Description Conceptualize and design 3D environments for various activations: retail (in-store), concourse events, roadshows, pop-ups, exhibitions, and other spatial experiences. Translate 2D ideas and campaign themes into spatial concepts that align with brand objectives and shopper journeys. Create high-quality 3D renderings, mockups, and technical drawings to support internal presentations and client approvals. Work closely with creative directors, copywriters, visual designers, project managers, and fabrication partners to ensure creative integrity and production feasibility. Stay up-to-date with material trends, fabrication methods, and retail display innovations to bring fresh ideas to every brief. Support in creating technical drawings or 3D visuals for tender submissions and costing evaluations. Ability to edit basic videos with video editing softwares, have good graphic design sense. Thorough multiple avenues such as colors, images, text style, and layout that complement the brief. Translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs. Manage and produce print design work, including creation of key visuals. Ensure consistency of brand and creative across all customer touch points. Stay current on industry trends and help inspire follow colleagues. Present the design to clients or the art director. Be an expert on the clients' product, services, or company. Job Requirements Diploma in 3D Design, Industrial/Product Design, Interior Design or equivalent 2-3 Years working experience Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language is a bonus. Proficient in 3D software (Blender or Sketchup only) and rendering tools Knowledgeable in the latest Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) Basic skills in Video Editing Software (Adobe Premiere Pro/ Adobe After Effects/ Final Cut Pro) Strong understanding of spatial layout, material usage, human traffic flow, and brand storytelling through physical space Able to work under tight timelines and juggle multiple projects with a strong eye for detail Experience in event setups, fabrication processes, or working with production houses/vendors is advantageous.
