- Responsible for driving business growth through proactive sales of industrial service solutions and lifting equipment (overhead cranes and hoists). This position builds and maintains strong customer relationships, identifies opportunities for value-added services, and ensures customer satisfaction through tailored service and equipment solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets for service contracts, modernizations, spare parts, and new equipment.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base within the assigned territory/market segment.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and tenders in alignment with company policies and pricing guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers at multiple levels.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer needs and recommending suitable Konecranes services and equipment solutions.
- Conduct regular customer visits and follow up to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Promote preventive maintenance, inspection services, and safety-focused solutions to enhance customer operations.
- Work closely with service and engineering teams to provide customized upgrade or modernization solutions for cranes and hoists.
- Stay updated with product knowledge, industry standards, and safety regulations to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Collaborate with Service Operations, Technical, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide feedback for strategic planning.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM and prepare timely sales forecasts and reports.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
- Diploma / Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering
- Valid driver's license
- With/Without work experience in industry-related equipment sales, services sales or relevant.
- Basic understanding of crane industry business.
- Experience in sales management and business development process.
- Sound technical background.
- Commercial knowledge.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces; elevated areas and at heights.
- Must be able to travel locally or outside central region for operational requirements.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience working with customer relations management (CRM) or similar tools.
