About the Company You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International&aposs Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. About the Role The Assistant Materials Manager is responsible in the planning and procurement of material, including vendor development and administration of contracted services in accordance with the hotel policy and procedures. Responsibilities Assist with the efficient running of the department. Plan and procure materials. Develop vendors and administer contracted services. Ensure compliance with hotel policy and procedures. Qualifications Ideally with a University Degree or Diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism Management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Asst. Manager in Materials or Purchasing, or as Team Leader in larger operation. Required Skills Good problem solving skills. Strong administrative skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
