ROLE OVERVIEW This role is responsible for building strong, long-term partnerships with key accounts by delivering value-driven solutions and meeting customer expectations. The Key Account Manager drives sales growth through new account penetration and upselling to existing clients, while strengthening internal collaboration to enhance overall customer experience. The role requires a proactive, hands-on approach, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure while managing priorities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop an intimate understanding of the client's business with a view to identifying/ pursuing new business opportunities across the organization Analyze usage patterns and proactively identify new opportunities to further develop the account Identify and engage key stakeholders within the client organization Builds/ manages/ enhances relationships at all levels across the client organization Works closely with internal product team(s) to identify/ build innovative solutions within existing solution portfolio Provides strategic feedback so as to enable ongoing enhancements of existing products/ development of new solutions Formulating/ maintaining Account Plans which includes key components such as overall AC strategy, business outlook, relationship plan/ matrix, and key activities/ actions, etc Monthly financial reporting of business outlook Manage/ coordinate activities with post-sale support teams to resolve outstanding customer issues WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Work Experience 8 + years of experience in key account management, relationship management, or B2B sales. Experience in financial services, credit reporting, fintech, or data-driven industries is an advantage. Skills & Competencies Strong relationship management and communication skills Good commercial acumen with ability to identify growth opportunities Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage client issues effectively Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
