The Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions to achieve business growth and client satisfaction.Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals or corporate clients, fostering long-term relationships through proactive engagement.
- Identify client financial needs and cross-sell a wide range of banking products and services, including loans, deposits, investments, and treasury solutions.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessments to provide appropriate and compliant financial advice to clients.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
- Prepare and present credit proposals, financial reports, and business plans to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving inquiries and issues efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., product specialists, credit, operations) to deliver seamless client service.
- Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with a focus on retail or corporate clients.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and assess credit risk effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, SC licenses) will be an added advantage.
