Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Process analysis and improvement Analyze production schedules, workflows, and manufacturing practices to identify inefficiencies. Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and improve productivity. System design Design and develop integrated systems of workers, machines, materials, and information for maximum efficiency. Create and manage efficient factory and facility layouts, sometimes using CAD software Quality and cost control Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure product standards are met and to reduce waste. Analyze costs and conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed changes. Data analysis Collect, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions. This can involve conducting time and motion studies, monitoring performance, and using statistical analysis tools. Safety and compliance Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Project management Plan, execute, and manage projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, which includes clear communication and stakeholder management. Collaboration Work with management, staff, vendors, and other engineers to implement solutions and achieve common goals. Qualifications Preferred bachelor's degree in or a related engineering discipline. Able to write and read in English At least 3 - 5 years' experience in manufacturing sector preferable semiconductor Strong command of SPC and DOE Experience in MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP tools Knowledge using Excel/VBA, SQL, Python, Tableau, CAD tools Strong analytical thinking and problem solving Attention to detail and documentation discipline Continuous improvement mindset
