- Balance Exams with Exploration – Prepare students for IGCSE success, while allowing for expression, project-based work, and real-world application
- Incorporate Waldorf-Inspired Methods - Use storytelling, nature, seasonal rhythms, and hands-on activities to make English meaningful and memorable.
- Work in Small Classes – With 10-15 students per class, you'll have the space to personalise learning and build strong student relationships.
- Build Strong Foundations – Identify and support language gaps, especially for learners who are new to English or lack confidence.
- Collaborate Across Subjects – Collaborate with other subject teachers to design cross-curricular projects that deepen understanding and student agency.
- Foster Independent Learners – Encourage critical thinking, self-expression, and ownership of learning as students prepare for post-secondary pathways.

- A qualified English or ESL teacher with a strong grasp of the Cambridge IGCSE ESL curriculum.
- 2+ years of Cambridge IGCSE ESL teaching experience, including exam preparation.

- A clear and engaging communicator who can inspire both native and EAL learners.
- Someone who balances structure and flexibility—committed to student outcomes but open to creative, student-centered approaches.
- A team player and community-minded educator who thrives in a collaborative school environment.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.)
- Experience with project-based or interdisciplinary teaching
- Experience in a Waldorf, nature-based, or alternative education setting (a plus!)
