- Reporting Line Assistant FSQ System Manager
- Working Hours 8.30am – 5.15pm
- Ensure workplace compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements, adhering to company standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Create, update, and maintain food safety and quality procedures and ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, customers, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct hazard analysis or risk assessments on raw materials, packaging materials, chemicals and external service providers.
- Maintain and monitor OPRP/CCP validation and verification ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
- Promptly escalate any gaps or non-conformities to superior or the FSQ Manager for corrective action.
- Support in analyzing and troubleshooting non-conformances / customer complaint, coordinating Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Action (RCAAP).
- Coordinate and provide cross-functional training on food safety and quality procedures.
- Maintain FSQMS database, document update and control system either in physical copy or system.
- Ensure traceability / mock recall / mock crisis are carried out in the pre-defined frequency and time limit.
- Manage and monitor Intelex activities, ensure site pending tasks are attended on timely manner to prevent overdue.
- Arrange GEMBA Walk / Site Inspection to ensure site compliance.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and other relevant teams to address quality issues and implement changes.
- Prepare and lead internal audits to assess compliance and identify improvement areas.
- Coordinate customers / third-party audits and certification processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies.
- Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely closure of action items.
- Ensure customer portal is attended as per customer requirement.
- Attend to customer enquiries / questionnaires in timely manner.
- Assist in handling customer feedback / complaint in timely manner.
- Compile and analyze FSQ performance data and KPIs.
- Prepare monthly FSQ reports for management review / as per request by regional.
- Support risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and/or review daily, monthly and/or yearly reports / trending analysis for continual improvement.
- Arrange and prepare for meeting minutes and/or FSQMS management review.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry with sound technical knowledge in risk assessment, PRPs, HACCP, FSSC 22000, RSPO and other relevant food safety standards.
- Experience in handling audits and certification process.
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing and growing global environment where accountability, quality, timeliness are key components.
- Effective communication with cross functional teams at multi-levels within the organization.
