- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent
- Relevant foundation training/certification is an added advantage - example, ITIL Foundation
- At least 1 year's experience in a customer service industry, preferably IT based would be an added advantage
- Ability to follow instructions, process and predefined procedures
- Ability to support multiple accounts/customer environment
- Good interpersonal skills and customer interface skills - both on the phone and in person with customers and colleagues
- Good, effective written and verbal communication skills - business fluent in International English;
- minimum at level S3 (PROFESSIONAL WORKING PROFICIENCY)
- Time management - punctual and meeting deadlines
- Resourceful in gathering and consolidating relevant data and information
- Good work practices - methodical and disciplined approach to work
- Ensures quality of work - high degree of accuracy, attention to details, still work effectively under pressure
- Good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to conceptualize problems, think on one's feet and "out of the box“
- Flexibility - in adapting to workload, working hours, practices, and situations
- Ability to discern situational needs and make quick but weighted decisions
- Ability to work both under supervision/directions and independently

- Self-development - learn new technical skills and other knowledge
- Willing to work on 24x7 shift hours as scheduled including weekends/public holidays
- Good understanding of Data Centre Operations
- Excellent understanding & compliance to EOC Operations Standards
- Understanding & compliance to ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems
- Good knowledge of electronic data processing concept - basic understanding of computers
- Knowledge of hardware operations and batch processing flows
- Working knowledge of PC technologies and industry standard business desktop applications such as MS Office 2003 and MS Windows XP
- Good working knowledge of scheduling and monitoring tools such as Control-M and TNG, etc.
- Working knowledge of platforms such as mainframe (e.g. MVS), UNIX, Solaris, Wintel, and AS400
- Working knowledge of Remote Desktop Management, ticketing tools and other Atos Origin tools
- Working knowledge of Atos Origin communication tools such as email, VoIP phone systems, WICOM, etc.
- Understanding of and ability to carry out quality assurance checks of work
- Good knowledge of Atos Origin support teams and their interface with customers
- Ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and experience of network
- Knowledge and experience of other computing devices or products
