If you are passionate about leading transformative projects and building successful customer partnerships, we'd love to have you on board.Electric Vehicle (EV) and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) are revolutionizing transportation, reshaping the way people move, connect, and engage with the energy systems of tomorrow.Automotive and Energy Solution (AES) Development team is looking for a R&D Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the development of various EV, EVSE and Energy test solutions.This position would require collaboration with project lead and technical team in Malaysia, Europe and US from various department.

Lead R&D team in product development and work closely with cross functional team to achieve project timeline and ensuring smooth NPI transition.
Allocate and plan resources and budget to support R&D projects.
Define strategies with design partners and also internal cross division/department to accelerate product development process.
Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and manage all requirements accordingly to realize each for the stakeholder.
Work directly with customer and MR (manufacturing representatives) on product requirements gathering, beta prototype evaluation and customer early adopter program.
Lead full product lifecycle checkpoints from investigation till shipment. Work across different functions such as marketing, service and support, engineering, production, quality, finance, procurement...etc).
To create and execute project work plans and to revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirement.
To coordinate and ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriate
To create, maintain and execute risk management plan.
Work closely with Product planner to prioritize plan for product development to address immediate customer needs/request.

Qualifications

PhD / Master / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent

Typically more than 10 years of related working experience, preferably 3 years in project management or relevant cross-functional leadership experience

Proven experience in people management with strong test development background as well as EV/EVSE/Energy background

Project Management Certification is a plus.

Fluent in both written and spoken English.
