Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a Postdoctoral Researcher based at UPM Sarawak in Bintulu. The successful candidate will lead and conduct advanced research in their area of expertise, contribute to project planning and implementation, analyse and publish research findings, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. The role also includes mentoring students and supporting the Institute's research agenda on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and sustainable ecosystem management. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of three Q1/Q2 Web of Science-indexed publications as main author (total at least 5 WoS-indexed publications). Ph.D. in a relevant field obtained within the last 5 years, such as: Forest genetics and tree improvement Seed production and biotechnology GIS, remote sensing, IoT/big data applications Environmental policy development and management Other related fields relevant to climate change mitigation and adaptation Proven research ability with strong publication record. Experience in laboratory or field-based research and data analysis. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
