- Define the product vision, roadmap, and goals aligned with company objectives.
- Understand market trends, customer needs, and business priorities
- Make strategic trade-offs to balance long-term goals with short-term needs.
- Conduct or collaborate on market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback.
- Identify customer pain points, unmet needs, and opportunities for innovation.
- Define buyer personas and target segments.
- Deep understanding of target market and consumer behavior.
- Translate business needs into product requirements and user stories.
- Prioritize features based on impact, effort, and alignment with strategy.
- Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap.
- Ability to launch new products and develop a portfolio strategy
Work closely with:
- Account holder & Sales Manager - to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery.
- Sales & Marketing - to support go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging.
- Customer Support & Success - to gather post-launch feedback and ensure satisfaction.
- Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., adoption, retention, revenue).
- Analyse data to assess product performance and user behavior.
- Drive continuous improvement based on insights and feedback.
- Keep internal stakeholders informed on progress, timelines, and changes.
- Serve as the voice of the product in the organization.
- Present product updates to leadership and get buy-in on critical decisions.
- At least bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biotechnology, Science or equivalent.
- Fluent in verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess good presentation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze data effectively and present insights and product messages in a clear and concise manner.
- Able to work in a team and independently. Possess good leadership qualities.
