- Ensure full compliance with accounting standards and other relevant rules and regulations.
- Ensure smooth operations and accurate accounting entries for mySalam.
- Prepare month-end journals, including FRS 4 and FRS 17 journals.
- Perform reconciliations for mySalam and raise journals where necessary.
- Perform payment coding and ensure all mySalam payments are captured in a timely manner.
- Assist with Stop Payment requests for mySalam payments.
- Assist the mySalam Team in approval limit documentation.
- Assist in accruals management, including maintaining relevant Balance Sheet schedules.
- Work with the Finance System team in providing accounting entries and flows for mySalam.
- Perform user acceptance testing for mySalam enhancements.
- Assist superiors in developing, reviewing, and updating related policies, manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Involve in planned and ad hoc projects/user acceptance testings for mySalam that require Finance's participation.
- Prepare all reports and schedules for the mySalam block of business.
- Assist in developing reports and financial statements in TM1, Excel, or other systems for MFRS 17 and relevant accounting standards.
- Perform any other tasks as required by superiors.
- Degree in any discipline or professional qualification in a related field, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Actuarial Science.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity in an insurance/takaful company.
- Knowledge of the market and industry.
- Understanding of regulations governing the insurance/takaful industry.
- Knowledge of internal controls and auditing.
- Technical knowledge in Takaful/insurance.
- Well-versed in the Islamic Financial Services Act, 2013,and has Shariah knowledge.
- Strong business acumen and sense of urgency.

- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- IT literate and well-versed in Microsoft Office.
