ResponsibilitiesAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Statistical Intern to support data-driven initiatives in our manufacturing operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in applying statistical techniques to improve process efficiency, product quality, and operational decision-making. You will work alongside engineers, analysts, and production teams to analyze manufacturing data and uncover actionable insights.Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, and analyze production and quality data from manufacturing systems.
  • Apply statistical methods such as control charts, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing to monitor and improve process performance.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving using data-driven approaches.
  • Support the development of predictive models for yield, defect rates, and equipment performance.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Document methodologies and maintain reproducible analysis workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization.
QualificationsQualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts relevant to manufacturing (e.g., SPC, DOE, capability analysis).
  • Proficiency in statistical software/tools such as R, Python, Minitab, or JMP.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
