- Assist the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef in preparing mise en place for all menu items according to standard recipes
- Contribute to the production and distribution of high-quality food items as per kitchen requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace and storage areas, adhering to HACCP regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely food preparation
- Recognize and maintain good quality products and presentation standards
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
- Manage time effectively to meet production deadlines and maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Support cost control efforts while maintaining high-quality food production
- Assist in inventory management and proper storage of ingredients and supplies
- Formal culinary diploma or equivalent certificate
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Strong knowledge of standard recipes and ability to follow them accurately
- Understanding of food quality standards and attractive presentation techniques
- Familiarity with HACCP regulations and food safety practices
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Basic math skills for recipe measurements and inventory management
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary techniques and trends
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
