Interior Architect Designer

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Interior Design (recognized local or international university).
• Professional certifications or membership with relevant boards (e.g. LAM, PAM, MIID) is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply

• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in interior architecture, design consultancy, or design & build companies (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may be considered).
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, Lumion, or equivalent visualization/rendering tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, detailing, and material specifications.
• Familiarity with local authority submission requirements and building regulations is a plus.
• Good project coordination skills - able to liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Strong creative and conceptual design ability with an eye for aesthetics, ergonomics, and practicality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written & verbal).

• Skills required: Interior Design, 3D Modeling, Construction Drawings, Project Management, Client Communication, Space Planning, AutoCAD, SketchUp

• Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic project environments.
• Possession of own transport is an added advantage (for site visits).

• Develop creative and functional interior architectural concepts aligned with client requirements, brand identity, and project objectives.
• Prepare space planning, layout proposals, mood boards, 3D visualizations, and working drawings.
• Translate client briefs into detailed design solutions, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and budgetary requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure design integrity during implementation.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, joinery/shop drawings, and material specifications for tender and execution.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to contractors during construction and installation phases.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept through completion.
• Research and recommend materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fittings to achieve desired design outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions relevant to interior architecture.
• Ensure timely delivery of design documentation and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
