Production Assistant

• No experience required
• Basic Mandarin (Chinese) and English
• Basic operation of computer (E-mail, Microsoft Office)
• Minimum SPM, preferably Diploma or higher
• Preferred: Interest or background in STEM subjects (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)

• Oversee materials incoming and products outgoing
• Conduct simple quality control tests on materials and products
• Maintain inventory records on materials, WIP, products and scraps

• Oversee and improve upon overall quality control processes
• Liaise with authorities (e.g. JKR, SIRIM, ISO) to obtain and maintain certifications
• Aid in production scheduling and analysing performance
• Study relevant power cable technical standards and aid in design
• Troubleshoot production issues such as machine failures and procure required parts
• Aid in researching new machines and designing production line for new products
