Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for overall Coherent Roadm product transfer to volume production in Ipoh, from product testing till packout shipment. Drives efforts in product re-engineering, cost reduction, yield improvement, quality and reliability improvement. To plan and execute the various product qualifications, engineering builds, DOE, activities and data collection. Monitoring line processes, improving quality and updating process instructions and documentation. Supports and initiates ECOs, BOM changes, test processes, procedures and specification modifications. To provide the necessary engineering support and coordination of pilot build to ensure that new products are completed on time and with minimum resources. Identify and quantifies quality problems with materials and / or processes and provide solutions. Drive technical project tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedule. Performs any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time. Education & Experience A Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical, Communications, Mechatronics or Applied Science in Physics with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in product, test or product transfers into Production domain. (functional skills) Skills Experience working in PCBA, Semiconductor devices, and Product Testing.
