This role requires a strong analytical mindset, adeptness with data-driven decision-making, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing ecosystem.The Challenges
  • Lead and manage the manufacturing operations of the company, ensuring adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Analyze production data and implement strategies to optimize fixed and variable costs, minimize scrap, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency, cost, quality, employee engagement, scrap reduction, and health & safety.
  • Drive initiatives to achieve optimum headcount and workforce efficiency while maintaining high morale and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges and ensure smooth material flow and production scheduling.
  • Monitor and manage production volumes and profit margins to achieve business targets and strategic objectives.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for health and safety throughout the manufacturing operations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the manufacturing team.
What It Takes
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role within the construction materials industry, particularly in managing manufacturing KPIs related to cost, productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization.
