We specialize in handling time-sensitive cargoes that require special permits and documentation. Our services include customs brokerage, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and consultation for import and export regulations. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Air Freight Manager located in Klang. The Air Freight Manager will be responsible for : leading and expanding the air freight team and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of air cargoes Overseeing and handling end-to-end airfreight operations - planning, scheduling, and monitoring shipments; prompty solving all air freight issues Manage all air freight pricing - source competitive rates from airlines and propose quotations to local customers and overseas agents Coordinate shipments with airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to coordinate cargo movement Communicate and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing them with timely updates and ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations Analyse and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and optimise air freight processes Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies Support sales and business development initiatives related to airfreight services Qualifications Minimum 8-10 years of experience in air freight operations and handling freight-related issues Thorough understanding of Ocean and Air Freight regulations, processes, pricing, routing and documentation Proficiency in managing complete Import and Export processes Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a talent for developing and mentoring employees What we offer At Uniqtrans Logistics Sdn Bhd', we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
