- Responsible for input data into payroll system and maintenance of clients' staff and payroll information
- Provide full spectrum of payroll processing and associated activities including payroll calculation, execution (salaries, leave and other compensation calculations) and reconciliation
- Monitor and execute payroll activities according to payroll processing schedule
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and disbursed to client's employee in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with the local regulatory reporting requirements and guidelines
- Ensure timely submission statutory remittance
- Process accurate and timely year-end reporting.
- Review and be responsible for the accuracy of the payroll reports and deliverables prepared by Specialists/Associate.
- Supervise a team of junior staff and overseeing their efficiency, work quality on deliverables and supporting the Team Lead/Assistant Manager in job planning.
- Ensure queries are resolved with business units and action points are followed through.
- Handle ad hoc activities as assigned.
- Assist and coordinate in payroll data migration and parallel testing.
- Supervise the daily operations of the team members.
- Ensure that the month-end close related reports are submitted to clients on a timely manner, that all payroll-related reports and/or information are accurately and completely recorded and reported.
- Responsible for administering and monitoring payroll processing schedule for associates in the team.
- Monitor and coordinates the end to end payroll process of associates in line with ISAE3402 requirement.
- Ensure adequate resource planning to maintain service level with SLA.
- Verify reconciliation and payroll reports prior to transmission to client.
- Guide and ensure proper payroll statutory compliance applied on compensation paid through payroll.
- Coordinate and monitor accurate and timely year-end reporting.
- Knowledge on some payroll software is an advantage.
- Basic Microsoft Office skill is essential.
- Good command of both spoken and written English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
- Sense of ownership and commitment to on-time and on-quality delivery.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team.
- Experience working in client service or SSC environment will be an added advantage.
- Specialist/Payroll Associate (A1): Fresh graduate in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- Senior Specialist/Senior Account Officer (A2): Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in payroll fields with reviewing experience.
- Team Lead (A3): Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in payroll fields with reviewing experience, client, and people management experience.
