Senior System Analyst - ABAP

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP objects:

• Design and develop new requirements, troubleshooting, performance tuning and improvement of existing programs from different SAP modules for SAP ECC6 applications

• Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP ECC6 and external systems (SAP EDI/B2B – Biztalk)

• Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and guidelines

• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including functional consultants and project managers

• Proactively recommend and propose improvements to existing processes and systems

• Work effectively and independently on assigned projects

• Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs;

• Participate in any special projects/programs as & when assigned by Company.

• SAP ECC 6 platform FG1525(01)A

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent, with 3-5 years’ relevant experience

• Preferably with a minimum of 1 - 2 full lifecycle implementation experience of SAP as an Analyst/ Consultant

• Good experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Model

• Have experience with ABAP Performance Tools in SAP

• Have prior experience working with EDI / ALE and any middleware and B2B applications

• Professional SAP Certification will be advantageous

• Prior experience in S4/Hana will be advantageous

• Good proficiency in debugging ABAP objects

• Minimum 3 years of SAP ABAP experience

• S4Hana project experience is an advantage

• Ability to analyse problems and provide clear recommendations

• Good interpersonal skills

• Ability to articulate and communicate with people of all levels in the organization

• Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
